Presidente Danilo Medina destaca avances logrados en Ciudad Juan Bosch Entrega obras que beneficiarán a residentes en el proyecto habitacional
SANTO DOMINGO,RD.-El Presidente Danilo Medina destacó los avances logrados en cuanto a infraestructura de servicios, la construcción de viviendas y los beneficios para que miles de familias clase media puedan obtener una vivienda en el Proyecto Ciudad Juan Bosch, ubicada en el municipio Santo Domingo Este.
El mandatario habló durante el acto de entrega de un centro de desarrollo para personas con discapacidad, un centro integral para adultos mayores, cuya construcción estuvo a cargo del Ministerio de Obras Públicas, y una estancia infantil, entre otras obras de interés para los residentes en ese proyecto habitacional.
Medina ponderó los esfuerzos de los adquirientes de viviendas, así como los promotores del sector privado y el Gobierno, para que Ciudad Juan Bosch sea una realidad.
El ministro de Obras Públicas, Gonzalo Castillo, quien también habló en la actividad, destacó que los centros que se entregan forman parte de un total de ocho edificaciones de servicios, como son destacamentos de Policía, estaciones de bomberos, centro de capacitación, entre otros.
Castillo agregó que tanto el centro de desarrollo como el centro integral son estructuras que fueron diseñadas con un sistema estructural tipo muro de carga y vigas, cumpliendo con las normas antisísmicas más avanzadas.
Dijo asimismo que cuentan con amplios parqueos, áreas verdes, vías de acceso, oficinas, terrazas, cocinas, comedores, baños, salón de esparcimiento, entre otras facilidades.
“Estas edificaciones para dar servicios a esta Ciudad Juan Bosch, dan un toque humano, de modernidad y operacional, a una ciudad que como esta, fue diseñada para vivir con calidad de vida y bienestar”, explicó.
Dijo que el derecho a una vivienda digna no solamente hace referencia al derecho de toda persona de disponer de cuatro paredes y un techo donde encontrar refugio, “implica también acceder a un hogar en comunidades seguras, en las que vivir en paz, con dignidad, salud física y mental, es la meta, es el sueño”.
Sobre el particular, destacó que “precisamente es esto lo que el Presidente Danilo Medina anhela para todos aquellos, dominicanos y dominicanas, que todavía no alcanzan a vivir de esta forma”.
Afirmó que Ciudad Juan Bosch Santo Domingo es en definitiva, un gran sueño convertido ya en realidad. Una realidad que solo se lleva a cabo bajo la dirección, la decisión, y la voluntad de un gran estadista.
Resaltó que el Presidente Medina garantiza el derecho a una vivienda adecuada, algo esencial para garantizar el derecho a la familia, de contar con la seguridad personal, de contar con salud, y en definitiva, asegurando el derecho a la vida.
Castillo hizo un reconocimiento al ministro de la Presidencia, Gustavo Montalvo y todo su equipo, así como las demás instituciones del Estado como EdeEste, Caasd, entre otras, y a los desarrolladores privados, “por haber puesto mucho empeño y dedicación para que hoy estemos aquí en Ciudad Juan Bosch, la más organizada, y moderna ciudad de nuestra Nación”.
En la actividad también hablaron el ministro de Educación, Andrés Navarro, quien anunció que dentro de poco los estudiantes de la escuela Hermanas Mirabal, en Ciudad Juan Bosch, también serán incluidos en el programa República Digital.
Asimismo, el director de la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD), Alejandro Montás, al referirse al tanque de abastecimiento de agua potable puesto en servicio, dijo que la función de este es la de regular las variaciones de la demanda, y distribuir el caudal de manera uniforme en la red.
El director de la Oficina de Ingenieros Supervisores de Obras del Estado (OISOE), Francisco Pagán, se refirió a los trabajos que realiza esa entidad en el proyecto Ciudad Juan Bosch.
Acompañaron al Presidente Medina en la mesa de honor el ministro de la Presidencia, Gustavo Montalvo; el ministro Administrativo de la Presidencia, José Ramón Peralta; el ministro de Educación, Andrés Navarro; el director de la OISOE, Francisco Pagán; la senadora Cristina Lizardo; el gobernador de la provincia Santo Domingo, Juan Frías; el director de la CAASD, Alejandro Montás, entre otros funcionarios.
