Falleció este domingo el veterano merenguero July Mateo (Rasputín), de un Accidente Cerebro Vascular (ACV), lo que enlútese la clase artística dominicana
Los restos del intérprete de “Viejo año” serán velados en la funeraria Blandino de la avenida Sabana Larga, en Santo Domingo Este.
Una fuente de la funeraria reveló que el cadáver está en Patología Forense, por lo que no tiene la hora en que será expuesto.
“El Monje Rasputín” fue destacado trompetista e interprete que convirtió su tema “Viejo Año”, en la canción que despide el año viejo y da la bienvenida al nuevo.
Durante su carrera recibió una serie de reconocimientos, entre ellos Premio Al Mérito de la Asociación de Cronistas de Arte (Acroarte).
