Margarita Cedeño: “Estoy cuadrada para ganar las elecciones en primera vuelta con un cuadrangular”

La aspirante presidencial del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Margarita Cedeño, afirmó que está concentrada en ganar la Presidencia de la República Dominicana (PLD) en la primera vuelta de las elecciones pautadas para celebrarse en el año 2024.
Dijo que fundamenta su apreciación en la fortaleza de su agrupación política y en el hecho de que desde hace años cuenta con el respaldo del pueblo dominicano.
“Estoy cuadrada para ganar las elecciones en primera vuelta con un cuadrangular”, dijo la exvicepersidenta de la República.
Indicó que la improvisación y la incapacidad de la actual gestión gubernamental constituyen dos de las causas por las que la población pasa por una situación de dificultad ante los embates de la inseguridad ciudadana, la pobreza y carestía de la vida.
Citó, además, la deficiencia en el sistema de salud, “una situación tan grave que gente se está muriendo por la falta de medicamentos de alto costo que en gobierno del señor Abinader Corona no está supliendo”.
De igual manera las políticas sociales que ejecuta el actual gobierno han fracasado, agregó, conforme lo demuestran las estadísticas; pasamos de ser la República Dominicana de ser un país galardonado por la FAO en el pasado, por alcanzar logros en el combate hambre, a ser el segundo país con mayor subalimentación de la región.
Cedeño dijo que desde la Presidencia de la República se encarará en tres aspectos: apoyo a la agropecuaria; para garantizar la soberanía y la seguridad alimentaria de nuestro país, con ello, generar empleos en las zonas rurales para evitar la migración en las zonas urbanas; inversión pública productiva, con estructura que promueva de manera transversal la economía; y la protección social.
Aseguró que en la medida en que avanza el tiempo, el proyecto político que encabeza va ganando más simpatía en la población porque los dominicanos y dominicanas son conscientes de que reúne el perfil para que el país retorne al camino del bienestar colectivo.
Exhortó a los ciudadanos y ciudadanas que, como primer paso, acuda masivamente a la consulta del próximo 5 de octubre que promueve el PLD para que respalde sus aspiraciones en el número 5 de la boleta.
