Leonel Fernández dice que “Gobierno no está prestando atención a las cosas básicas de la República Dominicana”

En el marco de un encuentro con el empresariado y personalidades que integran el sector externo de la Fuerza del Pueblo, el presidente de esa organización política Leonel Fernández, aseguró que el gobierno que dirige los destinos del país no está prestando atención a las cosas básicas que afectan a la República Dominicana, refiriéndose a los altos costos que experimenta la canasta básica familiar y otros temas que afectan a la ciudadanía.
Deploró también el poco apoyo a la agricultura y citó como ejemplo el bajo consumo de productos locales en el sector turismo. “En República Dominicana el turismo aporta el 39% del crecimiento del Producto Nacional, pero de lo que comemos aquí, de la agricultura solamente el 2%, entonces el sector agropecuario anda mal. Lo que tiene que ver con la alimentación del pueblo dominicano que es lo básico, lo fundamental y, la gente siente una preocupación, ansiedad, disgusto, inconformidad porque efectivamente el gobierno no está prestando atención a las cosas básicas, fundamentales del pueblo dominicano”, refirió el presidente de la Fuerza del Pueblo.
En el encuentro donde fue acompañado por Roberto Rosario, coordinador del sector externo y miembro de la Dirección Política de FP, el líder de la oposición conversó sobre las grandes necesidades que tiene la provincia de Samaná, Mencionó el proyecto RD2044, y las obras incluidas en esta interesante iniciativa para esa provincia costera.
Entre las obras necesarias mencionó, contar con un vertedero, básicamente en las Terrenas, por la gran importancia que tiene el turismo en esta zona del país. Fernández, dijo que es inaceptable que Samaná no cuente con un sistema eficiente, que garantice el abastecimiento de agua para toda la ciudadanía y el sector turismo.
Así mismo citó la necesidad de reconstrucción del malecón de Samaná y la construcción de un museo antropológico, entre otras.
Juramentaciones
Durante su recorrido por Samaná y sus municipios, el presidente de la Fuerza del Pueblo juramentó cientos de exdirigentes peledeistas y de otras organizaciones que decidieron formar parte de la FP.
Algunas de las personas que ingresaron hoy a la Fuerza del Pueblo son: Tony Romero, exdirigente Perremeísta; Juan Silvestre y Naval Ireón de León , ambos del sector salud; Eligio Baret, Junior Azor, Juan Espinal, María del Carmen Berroa, Juan Espinal y Deibi Carrasco.
De igual modo, Miguel-Miguel, expelotero profesional; Rafael Antonio Rosario, Joselito Ciprián, Marcel Moris, Martina Dismey, Yuderka Tavares de la Nuez, Ramiro Hernández, Beltrano Díaz y Yisel Jiménez, entre otros.
En el acto de juramentación estuvieron presentes los dirigentes provinciales de la FP; los exsenadores de la República Prim Pujals y Ramiro Espino; el excandidato a diputado por la FP Jhon Anderson, quien agradeció a los presentes por su apoyo y les exhortó trabajar incansablemente para lograr el triunfo en el 2024.
