Es una triste realidad. En nuestro país no hay líderes. Es una deuda que afecta sobre todo a nuestros jóvenes. Es como «El Dorado», por mas que lo buscamos, es inútil, no lo encontramos por ninguna parte, nadie da razón de el. Muchos no entienden que significa ni de la importancia de ejercerlo.
¿Por que no hay líderes? Uno de los problemas es tal vez de credibilidad, característica fundamental para ser líder.
¿Donde están los líderes políticos? No los hay. Solo existen politiqueros ocupados en fraguar ganancias particulares en contravía de los intereses colectivos. Miremos no mas a nuestro congresista y su pandilla de péleles sin personalidad, ocupados en reelección, en dadivas por apoyos amañados, ante la carencia de contendores que los enfrenten, porque carecen de preparación, credibilidad y seriedad.
Miremos también la doble moral de otros tantos políticos, que dejan ver que no hay liderazgo ni oposición en esta comunidad, a esos los vemos sólo en campaña buscando votos y como lograr un sueldo sin aportar nada, pasando el resto del tiempo como la marmota, ¿Pueden tener credibilidad este tipo de políticos? ¿Pueden ser líderes?
¿Donde están los líderes empresariales? Si los hay, solo se muestran en el ámbito internacional, donde pueden estar las jugosas ganancias de sus negocios, pero sin preocuparse por formar una mentalidad emprendedora en los profesionales que tratan de salir adelante. Nadie les cree por que solo piensan en ellos y siempre están de espaldas ante los males sociales que nos afectan.
¿Los lideres sindicales?
Ocupados en paros innecesarios, vendiendo la lucha colectiva, negociando por debajo de la mesa. Nadie les cree por que no convencen, por que no tienen el carisma y el compromiso que tenían los verdaderos líderes sindicales de antes.
¿Y los lideres estudiantiles?
Su única preocupación hoy es obtener un titulo, así sea para engrosar la lista de los «desocupados inteligentes». La comunidad no les importa, viven en otro mundo. ¿Quién le cree a alguien que no cree en si mismo?
¿Y los líderes docentes, los profesores? Este es el grupo más preocupante. ¿Cómo pueden ser líderes o enseñar liderazgo algunos docentes que son conformistas, desactualizados, que hacen trampas con sus títulos?, ¿Como creerle a quienes dan un mal ejemplo o simplemente no dan un buen ejemplo?
Al transcurrir las elecciones de este 8 de Noviembre con una gigantesca muestra del crecimiento Republicano en las urnas a pesar del mamotreto que observamos, nos queda bien claro que los llamados líderes Dominicanos de New York están raquíticos y en cama de muerte, lo que demuestra que son letra muerta para la historia, sólo un grillo suena en solitario a la distancia, pero tampoco tiene fuerza, por su condición de sabelotodo
El panorama es negro, no es pesimismo, es realismo, ¿Dónde están nuestros líderes? Hay un reto y un gran trabajo por delante.

Where are the leaders?

It’s a sad reality. There are no leaders in our country. It is a debt that mainly affects our young people. It’s like «El Dorado», no matter how much we look for it, it’s useless, we don’t find it anywhere, no one gives reason for it. Many do not understand what it means or the importance of exercising it.
Why are there no leaders? One of the problems is perhaps credibility, a fundamental characteristic of being a leader.
Where are the political leaders? There aren’t any. There are only politicians busy making private profits against collective interests. Let’s look no more at our congressman, and his gang of people without personality, busy in re-election, in dadivas for rigged supports, in the face of the lack of contenders to face them, because they lack preparation, credibility and seriousness.
Let’s also look at the double standards of so many politicians, who show that there is no leadership or opposition in this community, we see those only in the campaign looking for votes and how to achieve a salary without contributing anything, spending the rest of the time like the groundhog, can this type of politicians have credibility? Can they be leaders?
Where are the business leaders? If there are, they are only shown at the international level, where the juicy profits of their businesses can be, but without worrying about forming an entrepreneurial mentality in the professionals who try to get ahead. Nobody believes them because they only think of them and are always on their backs in the face of the social ills that affect us.
The union leaders?
Busy in unnecessary strike, selling the collective struggle, negotiating under the table. Nobody believes them because they do not convince, because they do not have the charisma and commitment that the true union leaders of before had.
What about the student leaders?
His only concern today is to obtain a title, whether it is to thicken the list of «smart unemployed». They don’t care about the community, they live in another world. Who believes someone who doesn’t believe in himself?
What about the teaching leaders, the teachers? This is the most worrying group. How can some teachers who are conformist, outdated, who cheat with their titles be leaders or teach leadership? How can we believe those who set a bad example or simply do not set a good example?
As the elections of this November 8 pass with a gigantic sign of Republican growth at the polls despite the mamotreto we observe, it is very clear to us that the so-called Dominican leaders of New York are rickety and in bed of death, which shows that they are dead letters for history, only a cricket sounds alone in the distance, but it does not have strength
The panorama is black, it’s not pessimism, it’s realism, where are our leaders? There is a challenge and a great job ahead.
