EL ING. RADHAMÉS SEGURA, ASPIRANTE A LA PRESIDENCIA DE LA REPÚBLICA, HABLA CLARO CON RELACIÓN A SUS COMPAÑEROS DE PARTIDO (PLD) DANILO Y LEONEL.
Radhamés Segura, aspirante presidencial por el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), afirmó este miércoles que el presidente Danilo Medina “no debe permanecer” en el poder más allá del 2020, y aseguró que el exmandatario Leonel Fernández “no debe volver” a ser presidente, alegando que ambos ya agotaron su ciclo presidencial.
Entrevistado por Elvin Castillo, Rafael Zapata y Kelvin Ortiz en el programa “El Nuevo Diario A.M.”, por “El Nuevo Diario TV”, sostuvo que Fernández y Medina favorecían el modelo presidencial de una sola reelección inmediata y nunca más, y destacó que el primero ya agotó 12 años en el poder y el segundo está cumpliendo ocho.
Asimismo, afirmó que “nadie, en contra del presidente Medina, tendría la posibilidad de alzarse con una candidatura presidencial”, y opinó que la confrontación entre danilistas y leonelistas está “mal encausada”, pues están sustituyendo “la institucionalidad del partido por una institucionalidad individual”.
Segura está seguro de que se trata de una lucha por el poder y por el control del partido, y advirtió que la confrontación podría quebrar la unidad peledeísta. Además, subrayó que el PLD será juzgado como gobierno y como partido, y por ello hay que cuidarse de lanzar ataques contra él.
“Ni Danilo debe quedarse, ni Leonel debe volver”, sentenció.
El también miembro del Comité Político del PLD estimó que el que desafía al mandatario afrontaría serias dificultades para lograr sus aspiraciones. Por tanto, llamó a esperar la decisión final que tome el gobernante.
El exfuncionario se definió como “amigo” de Medina y Fernández y como la “tercera fuerza” en el PLD, apuntando de paso que no está en el Gobierno por decisión propia. Lo que quiere es ser presidente de la República, expresó.
