EDE ESTE INFORMA QUE SEGUIRÁ EL DÉFICIT DE ELECTRICIDAD POR INDISPOSICIÓN DE PLANTAS, MAS DE 800 MEGAVATIOS

La Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (EDE Este) informó que continuará el déficit de electricidad por la indisponibilidad de varias plantas debido a mantenimiento.
Indicó que, pese a la entrada de Punta Catalina, el déficit de generación es de más de 800 megavatios, por lo cual se verán obligados a continuar interrumpiendo el servicio a sus clientes, incluso a los 24 horas, especialmente en horas picos, entre 5:00 de la tarde y 11:00 de la noche, cuando la demanda aumenta.
Agregó que el déficit de energía eléctrica se mantendrá por las próximas dos semanas.
EDE Este agradece a Punta Catalina por ayudar a mitigar esta situación de desabastecimiento de energía, y espera que las pruebas no requieran su salida.
Ofrece disculpas a sus clientes y usuarios por esta situación ajena a su voluntad de ofrecer un servicio continúo y de calidad a todos los habitantes de su área de concesión.
