La Dirección de Control de Bebidas Alcohólicas (COBA), del Ministerio de Interior y Policía, cerró dos establecimientos por violación al decreto 308-06 de Control de Expendio de Bebidas Alcohólicas y del decreto 461-21 correspondiente al Toque de Queda, donde 24 personas resultaron detenidas.

Los operativos se llevaron a cabo en los centros de entretenimiento Distrito 151, del Distrito Nacional, y Zipper Karaoke Bar de Santo Domingo Este, en este último también fueron incautadas 4 bocinas y 9 hookahs por la Policía Nacional.
Ambos establecimientos fueron cerrados y notificados por el COBA, por lo que tendrán que comparecer ante la dependencia del Ministerio de Interior y Policía.
El COBA advirtió que no tolerará y será arbitrario con los negocios que violen las disposiciones sobre el horario de venta de bebidas, así como los protocolos y medidas para evitar la propagación del COVID-19.
